About ATROPINE SULPHATE INJECTION 1ML

ATROPINE SULPHATE INJECTION 1ML belongs to a class of drugs known as 'anticholinergics', primarily used to treat bradycardia (slow heart rate). It also helps to restore a normal heartbeat in cardiac arrest cases. In addition to this, it is also used to treat myopia (leads to blurry vision) and uveitis (inflammation of the eye). Bradycardia means a slower heartbeat than normal. In general, heartbeats 60 to 100 times in a minute in a normal person. In bradycardia, it beats lesser than 60 times.

ATROPINE SULPHATE INJECTION 1ML contains Atropine, which is used to treat bradycardia (slow heart rate). It works by blocking the activity of acetylcholine (chemical messenger). As a result, this helps to bring back the blood pressure within the normal range and relaxes the heart. Hence, it treats bradycardia (decreased heart rate) and prevents any sudden fall of blood pressure or any other serious complications that might have otherwise followed due to low blood pressure.
